Master Ensuite with Walk In Wardrobe

Client Brief

When Mr and Mrs P bought there house in Henleaze they quickly came to the conclusion that there ensuite bathroom was too large for their requirements. They very rarely used a bath and therefore decided they would get better use if they divided the large room into two and create an ensuite shower room and a walk in wardrobe.

We designed the ensuite around a spacious level access walk in shower. Agreeing that a 1400mm width gave us sufficient showering space, we built the dividing stud wall at this point. We designed the room so the shower featured at the back of the room, thus creating the wet zone. The clients chose the usual specification for a wetroom – 2 way built in valve at the entrance of the shower, controlling a deluge fixed shower head and a hand held shower. This type of shower is ideal for rinsing the body and cleaning the shower screen and walls.

We tiled the floor and just the wet areas to help create a really fresh look, assisted by the choice of basin furniture colour. (Thyme from Burbidge).

With the walk in wardrobe, we created a bespoke layout to the clients specification. With a clever lighting system and luxurious carpet from our friends at Cameron Lee, both our clients and us were delighted with the overall look and finish.
